KEYNOTE #1: Current Status on Digital Twin Deployment: Where does the nuclear industry stand on the deployment of Digital Twins? Joint perspectives from a start-up company and a major nuclear operator.

As a reminder, a digital twin is a digital representation or replica of a complex « system » (a current or future installation, process, equipment, etc.). It can be synchronized in real time with the physical installation and enables end-to-end control of complex projects by centralizing and modelling all data. It can respond to the various economic, regulatory and security challenges faced by nuclear projects and provides benefits throughout the lifecycle of an installation.
